More than 2,300 people have so far signed a petition online titled 'Stop the BBC from making the Grenfell Fire TV Drama - Tragedy isn't entertainment'. The corporation says the show will be made with the "utmost sensitivity and respect" and that it is "extremely mindful" of the impact it will have on survivors and the families of those who died. Hundreds of people have signed a petition 'demanding' the BBC cancels a drama series about the Grenfell Tower disaster which 'deeply offended' survivors of the tragedy when it was first proposed.
